A1 Clause: Guarantee Conditions

To ensure the 50-year Guarantee offered by these products, the following conditions shall be fulfilled on an unrestricted basis:

A 1-1: Every implementation of the seismic isolation system must comply with the minimum requirements specified hereunder:

1. _It shall be left a separation of common boundary of the property not less than the stipulated by the applicable current standard, plus a distance equal to the one estimated referring to the maximum lateral displacement of the structure with the implemented isolation system.

2. _A minimum height of 90 cm shall be left between the terrain and the commencement of the superstructure (area known as transition structure) must be guaranteed for maintenance and/or change of any isolator.

A 1-2: Regarding the connections of the isolator to the structural elements:

1._A connection properly designed to withstand shear, torque and tensile forces, or a combination of all of them, that can be developed in the structural element, must be guaranteed.

A 1-3: The Guarantee covers the change of the device if any corrosion, wear, break, distortion, or tear problems of the isolator body or of the steel plates arise and they compromise the correct function of the device, and that have occurred before the seismic phenomenon. This maintaining the load and service conditions of the property as stipulated at the moment of the design of isolators.

After being presented the design seism, the isolator, and the isolation system shall be checked to determine if it requires a change. This change is not absorbed by the Company.
